As part of our continued focus on delivering modern, forward-looking publishing solutions, Quark regularly conducts reviews of our product portfolio and after our most recent review, we have taken the decision to retire App Publishing Studio on March 31, 2025.
This means that App Publishing Studio will not be available after this date, and all related functionality in previous versions of QuarkXPress – such as exporting projects as iOS or Android apps, and the App Publishing Studio palette – will no longer work. These features will be fully removed from the software from QuarkXPress v21.1 onwards.
We understand this may impact some users and apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. All active App Publishing Studio customers have been consulted with in advance and a migration plan has been shared with them.
This end-of-life decision allows us to focus on enhancing other high-value areas of QuarkXPress, its related products, and our exciting future innovations we have planned.
