The Content Access portal is Integrated with Salesforce. We have Quark tab in Salesforce. All the options available in Content Access Portal are available in Salesforce.
In Salesforce we have leads, contact, opportunities and accounts.
Here you can attach the document to contacts, leads, opportunities, accounts and chatter.
Select any tab to attach the document.
Copy Salesforce link
It provides link to "Salesforce" documents, copy and paste in your browser to go to sales force account. These links can be shared with internal and external users.
Based on leads, opportunities and contact the system makes recommendations. We have Salesforce widget in Leads, Contacts, Opportunities and Accounts.
Salesforce Integration Guide
Quark’s Content Enablement solution, Quark Content Management (Docurated) for Salesforce enables sales teams to surface and use the exact document, chart or slide they need, no matter where it is stored. Quark Content Management (Docurated) integrates with existing repositories (Box, SharePoint, etc.), provides Salesforce.com users with the best content at the right time in the sales cycle, and allows reps to create new slides from approved collateral, all from within Salesforce.com.
How do I get started?
To begin the integration, we’ll need to connect with your IT team and discuss the technical integration guide (see below).
Application Installation

Log in to your Salesforce account as a salesforce administrative user.

Once in Salesforce, under your username, click Setup.

Navigate to App Setup and, click on App Exchange Marketplace.

On the AppExchange, search for “Quark”. Once the app is found, it will be listed on this page.

To begin installation of the Quark Content Management (Docurated) application, click Get It Now on the listing page and follow the next steps.

Select which environment you would like to install it in: Production or Sandbox.

We recommend selecting ‘Install for All Users’ option to select the users for your Salesforce organization who will get access to the application.

If everything installs correctly, you should see the following displayed as the last installation step.

If the installation is taking a long time, Salesforce will alert you to this and send you an email when the application installation has completed.
Application Configuration
After the application is installed, you will need to follow these steps to configure Quark Content Management (Docurated) in Salesforce as an Admin under Setup.

Create a new Tab by adding a New VisualForce Tab for the Quark Content Management (Docurated) application:

Under App Setup, click Create

Click Tabs.
2. Select the VisualForce page for Quark Content Management (Docurated) and provide the Tab label as ‘Quark’.
3. This will add a new Tab called “Quark”.
Configuring Quark Tab in Lightning UI

In order to use Quark Content Management (Docurated) Tab in Salesforce Lightning, make sure to switch to Lighting UI and follow the following steps to configrure the Quark Content Management (Docurated) embedded widget.

The Quark Content Management (Docurated) Tabs are configured for Salesforce Objects: Account, Contact, Lead and Opportunity.

The Visualforce pages for the same are ‘Quark Content Management (Docurated) _Embedded_Account_Next’, ‘Quark Content Management (Docurated) _Embedded_Contact_Next’, Quark Content Management (Docurated) _Embedded_Lead_Next and ‘Quark Content Management (Docurated) _Embedded_Opportunity_Next’ respectively.

Go to Lightning App Builder > Object Manager > New

Select Record Page from the options of Create Lightning Pages, since the view for a record page is being altered.

Provide the appropriate label, most likely ‘Quark Content Management (Docurated) _ObjectName’ for the object, for which layout is being configured.
Example: Label : ‘Quark Content Management (Docurated) _Account’ and Object: ‘Account’.

Choose a template for Lightning Record Page. Preferably Choose Clone Salesforce Default Page to set as the default template for the Salesforce Record Page or

Select Add Tab from the left pane.

Click on newly added Tab and Select custom Tab from the list of Tabs and name the same as ‘Quark’

Go to the newly inserted tab of Quark, and add a Visualforce component.

Insert Label to be ‘Content Engagement’

Select the Visualforce Page corresponding to which the layout is being configured. Say, Visualforce component for Account would be ‘Quark Content Management (Docurated) _Embedded_Account_Next’. The same would vary for Contact and Opportunity to be ‘Quark Content Management (Docurated) _Embedded_Contact_Next’, ‘Quark Content Management (Docurated) _Opportunity_Account_Next’ respectively. Provide an appropriate height of 750px. Save the page.

Save the page, but it is not yet activated

Click on Activation on the top right corner.

You can activate the lightning page for an Organization, App or App, Record type and Profile. Preferably select the same to be organization default and further more specific layouts can be created for different applications, records and profiles bases upon preferences.

Review Assignments and save the same

Visit the record corresponding to the salesforce object, to view the Quark Lightning widget
Permission the Connected Application

Set Profiles or Permissions access for the Quark application:

Under Manage Apps, click Connected Apps
-
Select Quark Content Management (Docurated) .

Edit the Quark Content Management (Docurated) application and set OAuth policies for Permitted Users to Admin approved users are pre-authorized.
-
Select corresponding Profiles or Permission Set to allow access to the Quark Content Management (Docurated) application by selecting Manage Profiles or Manage Permission Sets.

If you are setting Permission Sets, make sure to set the Quark Content Management (Docurated) application for both Connected App and Visualforce Page access. Configuration is complete!
Salesforce and Quark Content Management (Docurated) Sync Configuration
Quark Content Management (Docurated) ’s Salesforce integration enables organizations to connect their accounts and bring in documents stored in Salesforce. This can include Word, Excel, PPT, PDF, Image, Video and Keynote.
With the Quark Content Management (Docurated) Salesforce integration: The “Open” button brings the user directly to the document in Salesforce Files will be displayed under the filter Source: Salesforce Underlying permissions in Salesforce are fully mirrored in Quark Content Management (Docurated) .

Visit the Add Content section and click on Salesforce

Click the Login to Salesforce to Configure your Account button.

Now, you will be redirected to Salesforce. Click Allow to enable the sync.

Salesforce may ask for your Salesforce credentials in order to log in. Configure your Salesforce and Quark Content Management (Docurated) sync preferences.

You will be redirected back to Quark Content Management (Docurated) , where you will be prompted to select which types of files are processed by Quark Content Management (Docurated) .

Click Save button to completed Salesforce Integration.

Salesforce Object Syncing
The details of objects that are to be synced and stored in our system in order to adhere to the api limits of the organization if any. We make API requests for salesforce recommendations, playbooks, syncing salesforce libraries, content engagement activity logging and emails.
The default objects that we sync are mentioned below. Apart from this, we can customize the objects to be synced as per user convenience.

Salesforce Content Workspaces to be Synced
In order to mirror data from Salesforce libraries, we would need following details from the customer:

The content workspace id or the salesforce library id that needs to be mapped

The topic corresponding to the library to which the data would be mapped
