Reactivation request form

You will need to reactivate QuarkXPress® or QuarkCopyDesk® under the following circumstances: if you upgrade to a new version of the product, if any attempt is made at hacking the activation mechanism, or if you change the Ethernet address of the computer (Mac OS®). Use this form to reactivate your copy of QuarkXPress or QuarkCopyDesk software.

Before you can reactivate your software, your copy of QuarkXPress must be registered with Quark.

For QuarkXPress:
The serial number is a 13-digit alphanumeric number starting with XW, WX or XU. To find your serial number, with QuarkXPress running, press the Option key (Mac OS) or Control key (Windows®) and choose About QuarkXPress from the QuarkXPress menu (Mac OS) or Help menu (Windows®). The QuarkXPress environment window will display. The third item on the left is the serial number.

For QuarkCopyDesk:
To find your serial number, with QuarkCopyDesk running, hold down the Option key (Mac OS) or Control key (Windows) and select About QuarkCopyDesk from the QuarkCopyDesk menu (Mac OS) or Help menu (Windows). A window called “QuarkCopyDesk Environment" will open. The third item on the left in the QuarkCopyDesk Environment window is the serial number.

***Installation code is a 47-digit number
To find the Installation code, launch QuarkXPress and navigate to the activation screen. Choose to activate over the telephone and click Activate QuarkXPress. The installation code is displayed on the next screen.
