Quark ALAP Imposer Pro

Imposer Pro for QuarkXPress

Impose pages from a single QuarkXPress® project into 2-up, 4-up, or 8-up flats. Unlike other solutions, Quark® ALAP Imposer Pro does not rearrange or shuffle pages in a document. Reordering is handled in the print stream for quicker, more reliable results. Quark ALAP Imposer Pro gives you full control over creep, bleed, and crossover traps. Whether your production piece is a brochure or a book, Quark ALAP Imposer Pro offers an easy-to-use solution. Quark ALAP Imposer Pro is now available for QuarkXPress 6 and Mac OS® X.

Quark ALAP Imposer Pro features:

  • Choose from three sheet types: 2-up, 4-up, or 8-up
  • Choose from five imposition types: Standard, Work and Turn, Work and Tumble, Split Web, and Sheet Wise
  • Accommodate saddle-stitched, perfect-bound, spiral bound, comb bound, three-hole punched, and single-cut sheets
  • Flip and move pages within a printer flat
  • Specify the number of pages in a signature
  • Control plate margins; horizontal, vertical, and spread gaps; bleeds; crossover trapping; and creep
  • Start an imposition at any page in the document
  • Access registration styles created using the Quark ALAP MarkIt 2.x XTensions software
  • Save frequently used settings as re-usable imposition styles
  • Export and share imposition styles
  • Preview a printer flat and control color depth of previews
  • Display page boundaries, bleeds, and page numbers in previews
  • Support tiling
  • Print with standard QuarkXPress controls

Imposer Pro

Quark ALAP Imposer Pro is a more powerful version of the Quark ALAP Imposer XTensions software. Quark ALAP Imposer Pro incorporates all of the features of Quark ALAP Imposer and adds 8-up flats, split web and sheet wise printing, multi-sheet signatures, and more.

Imposer Pro

The capabilities of Quark ALAP Imposer Pro allow for placement of custom marks when used in conjunction with the Quark ALAP MarkIt XTensions software. Quark ALAP MarkIt is a powerful output alternative to the standard registration and crop marks available in QuarkXPress.

If you purchased your software and have your serial number, you can download the software. You must supply your serial number during installation.

If you have not purchased the software yet, you can download the software as a demo version.

Demonstration versions

You can install a demonstration version that is fully functional for 15 days. After 15 days, you can continue using QuarkXPress but the demonstration version of Quark ALAP Imposer Pro will no longer function.

Note: Demonstration versions of Quark ALAP Imposer Pro will NOT make QuarkXPress run in demonstration mode. Any QuarkXPress project you create, modify, or save while using a demonstration version of Quark ALAP Imposer Pro will NOT be marked as a demonstration document.
