Following is a list of issues resolved in QuarkXPress® 6.1.
Mac OS™ only: When you activate QuarkXPress through a proxy server (used to connect to the Internet through a dedicated connection on a Local Area Network [LAN]) , the password characters now display as asterisks (*) in the Activation dialog box. QuarkXPress does not quit unexpectedly if you delete the password from the Activation dialog box.
Mac OS only: Creating a layout after checking Facing Pages in the New Project dialog box no longer causes QuarkXPress to quit unexpectedly.
Mac OS only: You can now use a mouse to create tables correctly in QuarkXPress.
Windows only: QuarkXPress no longer quits unexpectedly if there are more labels than will fit in the Label pop-up menu of the Library palette.
Windows NT® and Windows 2000 only: QuarkXPress no longer quits unexpectedly if you click the Print Chapters icon (Book palette) while chapters are selected.
Hyperlinks now work correctly when you change from a print layout to a Web layout. In previous versions, the absolute hyperlink path was stored, but now QuarkXPress correctly stores the local hyperlink path.
Mac OS 10.2.6 only: In previous versions, if you imported an RTF file using the Get Text command in a new QuarkXPress print project, the correct color name did not display in the Color palette. This problem has now been resolved.
