Following is a list of issues resolved in QuarkXPress® 7.31:
RESOLVED: If you open a project that was created in an earlier version of QuarkXPress 7, and that project includes right indent tabs and negative tracking, text reflow may occur.
RESOLVED: If you use the “SavinC3528 Printer” to print more than one copy of a layout, and select the collate and staple options, the collate and staple options may not be honored.
RESOLVED: If you save an image as a PSD file in Adobe Photoshop® Creative Suite 3 and then import the PSD file into QuarkXPress, spot or alpha channels may not be included.
RESOLVED: If you open a project created in QuarkXPress 7.0 that contains justified text that uses tracking, the text may unexpectedly reflow.
RESOLVED: Lines and text paths with a width of Hairline print with a width of 1 pt.
RESOLVED: Windows® only: The alert "Specific layout settings or different font versions may cause this text to reflow. [19]" displays repeatedly if you open a project that was created in an earlier version of QuarkXPress with a version of a font that is older than the font currently installed.
RESOLVED: Mac OS® only: If you open a project created in a previous version of QuarkXPress, words containing apostrophes do not hyphenate correctly.
RESOLVED: If you apply Underline, Word Underline, or Strike-Thru formatting to a word that falls immediately after a tab, save the project, and then close and reopen the project, the formatting applies to the tab before the word as well as the word itself.
RESOLVED: You cannot paste decimal values into the X% and Y% fields in the Measurements palette for pictures.
RESOLVED: Swedish key commands are listed incorrectly in menus and in the Help.
RESOLVED: If you import a PDF file and choose an option other than TrimBox from the Bounding Box to Use drop-down menu (Import Picture dialog box > PDF Import tab), and then import another PDF, the Bounding Box to Use drop-down menu incorrectly resets to the default value of TrimBox.
RESOLVED: There is no way to update only a single instance of an imported picture from within the Pictures tab of the Usage dialog box (Utilities menu).
NOTE: You can now update the selected instance of an imported picture by Shift+clicking Update.
RESOLVED: If you right-click the bar at the left of the Measurements palette and choose Always Show Tab Bar, then quit and relaunch QuarkXPress, the tab bar does not show.
RESOLVED: Mac OS only: Font names become scrambled if you:

RESOLVED: Mac OS only: If you close and then reopen a project that contains index entries without closing the Index palette, the index entries display incorrectly in the palette.
RESOLVED: Mac OS only: If you include quotation marks when you replace a word during spell check, they are inserted as straight quotes even if the Smart Quotes feature is turned on (QuarkXPress > Preferences > Input Settings pane).
RESOLVED: If you choose Utilities > Use Swiss German (Reformed), style sheets use German (Reformed) as the character language instead of Swiss German (Reformed).
RESOLVED: QuarkXPress may unexpectedly quit if you:
RESOLVED: Mac OS only: If you import a grayscale picture, apply a color to the picture, change the picture's opacity, and then copy and paste the picture into another picture box, the color and opacity changes are not applied to the copy.
RESOLVED: Mac OS only: If you create an external composition layout, two files are created instead of one.
RESOLVED: Mac OS only: If you apply a custom color to an imported grayscale picture and then copy and paste that picture into a picture box in another project, the copy of the picture in the second layout does not display when you print the layout or export it in PDF format.
RESOLVED: Mac OS only: If the hard drive's name contains an apostrophe and a space, QuarkXPress creates temporary files at the root level of the hard drive.
RESOLVED: If you import a JPEG, PDF, Scitex CT, or TIFF picture with dimensions of 470mm x 470mm or greater, and then print the layout at low resolution (File > Print > Pictures pane > Output drop-down menu > Low Resolution), the picture prints at the wrong size.
RESOLVED: Mac OS only: If you drag-select text across pages, the pages do not scroll when you drag past the edge of the window.
RESOLVED: If you create a table that uses the Link to External Data option (Table Properties dialog box), and you link that table to a large amount of data in an Excel® spreadsheet, it takes a long time to move the table or resize its rows and columns.
RESOLVED: If you enter the escape character ( \ ) as the first character in the Find What field of the Find/Change dialog box (Edit > Find/Change), the escaped character is ignored.
