QuarkDispatch® is the database server component of QPS. This core module manages and maintains information about your unique environment, including metadata, workflow, preferences, users, privileges, versions, revisions, and more.

QuarkDispatch Administrator is a core module that walks you through a step-by-step process to map your workgroup specifications. QuarkDispatch Administrator includes tools to configure the workflow, define users, specify privileges, establish revision control, implement routing procedures, and more.

QuarkDispatch Manager is a core module that helps administrators, production managers, traffic managers, and managing editors juggle everything from archiving, replicating, and transferring files to project monitoring, tracking, and management. Writers and editors can use this core module to write-to-fit the first time and see exactly how text displays using multiple views — Galley, Full-screen, or WYSIWYG — for viewing line counts, line breaks, and column breaks. QuarkCopyDesk continuously displays underset or overset amounts, word and line counts, and column depths.
