How to become a QuarkXPress Certified Expert
To earn the designation of QuarkXPress® certified expert, you must successfully complete an online test from a computer that is equipped with a high-speed Internet connection. You have up to three hours to complete the exam and will receive your results immediately upon completion. A signed certificate of completion will arrive within 30 days by U.S. mail.
Taking the test
You can take an exam that is focused on print media or print media and Web publishing. Currently, you can be certified in QuarkXPress 6 or QuarkXPress 7. Examinations are randomly generated from a bank of hundreds of questions that span the entire gamut of the powerful toolsets in QuarkXPress, depending on the focus of your exam. Select from among the following categories:
- Interface
- Typography
- Color reproduction
- Page layout
- Graphics and images
- Output
- Job Jackets™ technology
- Collaboration
- Web page and Web object design
