QuarkXPress Technical Support

If you purchased and registered a supported product, you are eligible for free support for the first 60 days after the date of registration. Your 60-day free support period will start on the day of registration. If you have not registered your product you should register it here first.

Activation and licensing inquiries for current versions of QuarkXPress (the two most current versions) are free of charge. All other support queries require a single incident or 6 or 12-month support plan.

If you are not within the free 60-day support period and do not have a support plan you can purchase one of the support plans below.

  • Single support incident: £19/€25
  • 6-month support plan: £65/€79
  • 12-month support plan: £99/€119

Single Support Incident

  • One time support.
  • Support for all supported versions of QuarkXPress.
  • Single incidents offer support through the ticket portal only.
  • Activation and Licensing support for an end-of-life (EOL) product line is available for a single incident fee.
  • A single incident ticket is NOT applicable for active or end-of-life (EOL) incidents related to Quark Enterprise Solutions, including Quark Publishing Platform, Quark XML Author and QuarkXPress Server.

6 or 12-Month Support Plans

  • If you purchased or registered a supported product, you are eligible for free support for the first 60 days. After the first 60 days you can purchase a support plan.
  • Support is offered through the ticket portal, chat and phone support systems. Phone support is call-back only.
  • Support is offered for all supported versions of QuarkXPress.
  • Support plans include general technical support for QuarkXPress and App Studio. They do not include support for development or design work.

QuarkXPress Upgrade Plan

Get the most out of your investment with a QuarkXPress Upgrade Plan. By electing to enroll your QuarkXPress licenses into an Upgrade Plan programme, you will receive all upgrades released during the term of your QuarkXPress Upgrade Plan free of charge. This applies to all licenses enrolled.

  • QuarkXPress Care Upgrade 24 months: £125/€149

IMPORTANT: Upgrade Plans are only available for purchase within 90 days of your QuarkXPress full license or upgrade purchase.

QuarkXPress Upgrade Plan Benefits

  • Convenient 12 or 24-Month Enrollment Terms: No contract required.
  • Free Upgrades: No charge for upgrades to all licenses enrolled and current in the programme at time of the next upgrade release.
  • Priority Access to QuarkXPress Updates: Receive priority notification and access to QuarkXPress updates via download.
  • License Flexibility: Access to concurrent usage of up to two versions of QuarkXPress (currently 2015 and 10) to ease migration planning. QLA Site license customers only.
  • Free site consolidation / de-consolidation

Eligibility: Customers must be at the most current version of QuarkXPress prior to enrolling in the assurance programme. Customer must own at least one copy of QuarkXPress to qualify for Upgrade Plan. Customers can also purchase QuarkXPress Upgrade Plan with their new or upgrade license within 90 days or as part of an existing Maintenance or Upgrade Plan renewal.

Renewal Reminders and Updates

Part of the service the Quark team provides you are reminders and updates about both your QuarkXPress Upgrade Plan and other QuarkXPress updates. Rather than having to remember to renew your Upgrade Plan, you will receive an email notification when your contract expires. Additionally, Quark will ensure that you receive any QuarkXPress upgrades that are available during the term of your QuarkXPress Upgrade Plan. Upon the completion of your 12 or 24 months Upgrade Plan, you can then choose to renew for an additional 12 or 24 months or cancel these services.

QuarkXPress Upgrade Plan is only available at the time of purchase or, if you provide proof of purchase, within 90-days of the date of purchase of QuarkXPress 2015. After this 90-day period you can only add QuarkXPress Upgrade Plan when you upgrade to the next version of QuarkXPress. QuarkXPress Upgrade Plan can only be added to the latest version of QuarkXPress so if you own a version of QuarkXPress other than the latest one, you must first upgrade it before you can add QuarkXPress Upgrade Plan. Customer is responsible for all taxes, shipping, and handling.
