Multi-license Lab-Paks

Accredited schools can purchase QuarkXPress in a special volume-priced Lab-Pak configuration for use by the school. You must purchase a license for a minimum of 10 users. You can add more users to the Lab-Pak license as needed.

  • Quark License Administrator
QuarkXPress 7 Lab-Paks require the use of Quark® License Administrator (QLA), which is included with the purchase of a Lab-Pak. With QLA, you can increase or decrease the number of licensed seats quickly and easily to meet the needs of your changing class sizes.
  • How it works
QLA is a server-based license management system that monitors requests for Quark software licenses over your network. If a license is available, the request is fulfilled and a license is checked out, which completes the launch of the Quark application on the user's computer. When users exit the Quark application, the license is checked back in and becomes available to someone else, giving all of your students and administrators access to the industry-leading page layout application.

Because QLA is a server-based application, it simplifies the installation and maintenance of Quark software throughout your entire educational institution. System administrators have complete control over when, where, and how users access Quark products, making it ideal for classrooms with multiple users.

To find out if QLA will work in your environment, please have a member of your IT department review the system requirements.
