Payment options for direct purchases
The following information applies to QuarkXPress software purchased directly from Quark Customer Service. For information about purchasing Quark products through an independent retailer, contact the retailer's customer service group for payment, shipping, and return information.

Credit Card
We accept the following credit cards: American Express , Visa, and MasterCard.

Please note that when you purchase products and upgrades directly from Quark and pay with a credit card, the order is immediately filled and shipped. Therefore, if you need to cancel a credit card order, please do so as soon as possible. See also Cancelling an Order and Returns.

Refunds applied to credit cards are not posted by your credit card company instantaneously. The refund may not appear on your statement until 30–60 days following the transaction.

Check
If you're paying with a check (U.S. funds only), we will not ship your order until payment clears. Your address and order number must appear on the check. Send payment checks to one of the following addresses:

Purchase Order

We accept purchase orders, but you must meet the following purchase order terms:

You must be approved for credit. Before we can accept your initial purchase order, you must apply and be approved for purchasing products with credit. Once you are approved, all subsequent purchase orders will be processed and the product will be shipped within one to two weeks. Contact Quark Customer Service to obtain a credit application.

The minimum purchase is currently $500, although government agencies and educational users are exempt from this requirement.

Cancelling an Order

What to do if you need to cancel an order placed with Quark?

If you have ordered Quark products through customer service and subsequently decide to cancel your order, you must call or e-mail us as soon as possible.

E-mailing a Cancellation
The e-mail must be sent by the person who placed the order. Include the product order number and serial number in all correspondence. E-mail the cancellation request to cservice@quark.com.

Grace Period for Cancellations
Orders may be cancelled any time prior to shipment from our distribution center. If you paid using a check or a purchase order, you usually have a few days to cancel between the time you place the order and when it actually ships. If you paid with a credit card, you may have to return the product instead of cancelling the order. We expedite all prepaid orders as a convenience, but this does limit the grace period for cancellations.

Returns

The following return information applies to products purchased directly through Quark Customer Service.

Our Return Policy
You can return an unopened product to us within 72 hours of receipt to receive a refund of the product purchase price. We do not refund the original shipping cost. You are responsible for the cost of return shipping.

We do not accept returns on products that have been opened.

Our return policy only applies to products purchased directly through Quark. If you purchased Quark products through an independent retailer, you must return products to the store or distributor from which they were purchased. We do not handle the return of products purchased through independent retailers.
