Quark announces its support to the Digital Magazine Awards 2010 as Platinum Sponsor
LONDON - 8/26/2010 - Quark announced today the company is sponsoring the Digital Magazine Awards 2010, a global awards initiative to showcase the best digital magazines and recognise the most influential people in digital publishing today.
Quark recently announced its Digital Publishing 2.0 strategy and its plans for a number of solutions for publishing to digital devices. These include partnerships with K-NFB and Baker and Taylor that will see design-rich publishing direct from QuarkXPress to the Blio Reader - a new reading technology that will be available on a wide range of digital reading devices in 2010.

The Digital Magazine Awards 2010 are an international awards celebrating the best of the digital publishing industry with categories ranging from Fashion, Lifestyle and News & Business Magazine of the Year to individual awards for Editor, Designer and Writer of the Year.
Entry cost is £25 per category entered.
Final entry date is September 30th.
Award winners will be announced on the 27th October.
Lead Judges for the awards include Microsoft’s Executive Producer, Peter Bale; WIRED Magazine’s Editor, David Rowan and Telegraph Media Group’s, Head of Technology, Shane Richmond.
The Platinum Sponsorship package includes the addition of the Quark logo and ‘in association with Quark’ to the Digital Magazine Awards 2010 title on the Award’s website, correspondence and branding at the Winner’s media event and announcements. Quark will also be featured in the Winner’s Showcase Magazine and Trade News Magazine. As part of the package Quark will present each category winner at the Awards with a publishing design package.
