Quark and Microsoft Present “Improving 2010 Profits with
Microsoft Office and DITA”
DENVER - 2/18/2010 - On February 24, 2010 Quark will be onsite at Microsoft’s Silicon Valley campus in Mountain View, CA to explore how DITA can revolutionize product documentation for organizations dedicated to engineering and manufacturing. Michael Boses, director of XML Products at Quark, will demonstrate how, with little disruption and increased ROI, DITA can reduce documentation effort, improve quality, and make content available for reuse in areas as diverse as customer service, knowledge base applications, and marketing.
As a recognized thought-leader and co-chair of the OASIS DITA for Enterprise Business Documents Subcommittee, Boses’ experience in the design and implementation of off-the-shelf software for engineering and manufacturing, combined with a decade of collaborating on large XML projects, will provide attendees a balance between the theoretical and practical information surrounding DITA.
